Molding Supervisor 3rd Shift (10:40pm-7:10am)

About the Role

This position reports directly to the Molding Operations Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of Decostar as described below:

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and participate in team activities to maintain and continuously improve on IMM department/shift performance goals.
• Prepare management summary reports and trend charts detailing department key efficiency operating indicators.
• Communicate and liaison with the department manager all data necessary to ensure timely resolution of quality and downtime issues, and to expedite the brainstorming and decision making process.
• Assess the abilities of personnel and resources, and allocate them to the areas of their greatest expertise and utilization.
• Ensure that all accidents are properly reported and accident investigations are completed within 24 hours.

Who we are looking for

• Operational knowledge of management information systems, use of personal computers and application software.
• Minimum three to five years supervisory experience.
• Minimum six years technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferable in injection molding.

Your preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Six years work related experience might be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.
• Demonstrated organizational, communication, problem solving and people skills.
• The ability to coordinate other shift activities in addition to functional responsibility for his/her own shift operations.
